About
The Bachelor of Education programme, generally known as B.Ed., is a professionalcourse that prepares teachers for upper primary or middle level (classes VI-VIII),secondary (classes IX-X) and senior secondary (classes XI-XII) levels.

Duration
 The B.Ed.programmeis of duration of two academic years.

Eligibility
 (a) Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor’sDegree and/or in the Master’s degree in Science/ Social Science/ Huminities, Bechalor in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55 % marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the programme.
(b) The reservation in seats and relaxation in the qualifying marks infavour of the reserved categories shall be as per the rules of the concerned Government.

D.El.Ed.

About
The aim of elementary education is to fulfill the basic learning needs of all children in an inclusive school environment bridging social and gender gaps with the active participation of the community. The programme aims at preparing teachers for elementary stage of education that is Classes I to VII/VIII.

Duration
 The elementary teacher education programmeis of duration of two academic years.

Eligibility
 (a) Candidates with at least 50% marks in the senior secondary (+2) or its equivalent examination are eligible for admission.
(b) The reservation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government / State Government, whichever is applicable.
